《僧祇》多種：一在界外與欲。二持欲出界。三與欲已，自身出界。四與欲已，自至僧中，默然還出。五持欲至僧，因難驚起，無一人住者，名壞眾失；有人住則不失。餘同當宗。

The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya has many kinds: First, granting chanda outside the boundary. Second, carrying the chanda outside the boundary. Third, having granted the chanda, leaving the boundary oneself. Fourth, having granted the chanda, going into the saṃgha oneself, and then leaving in silence. Fifth, carrying the chanda to the saṃgha, where due to a catastrophe people start up in alarm so that not a single person remains; this is called losing it due to the disruption of the assembly; if someone remains, it is not lost. The rest are the same as in our own school.
