上來諸列皆不成欲，說亦不成。知而故為，反自受罪。文云：皆不成與欲，當更與餘者欲。

All the above-listed cases render the chanda invalid; stating it is also invalid. If one does so knowingly and deliberately, one conversely incurs an offense oneself. The text states: 'In all cases, granting chanda is invalid; one should grant chanda to another instead.'
