三明遇緣不說成者。文云：若受欲人，若睡、若入定、若忘、若不故作，如是者成；若故不說，得罪。而不知成不？理亦應成，在開緣明也。並謂在僧中，若在中道，並名不到。

Third, explaining when encountering circumstances where it is not stated yet remains valid. The text states: 'If the recipient of the chanda falls asleep, enters absorption, forgets, or does not act deliberately, in such cases it is valid; if he deliberately does not state it, he incurs an offense.' But it is not known whether it is valid or not. In principle it should also be valid, as explained in the conditions for allowance. All these refer to being within the saṃgha; if one is halfway along the road, in all cases it is considered not having arrived.
