二正加聖法。上座云：「僧今和合，何所作為？」答云：「結大界羯磨！」當白二結之。文云：「大德僧聽！此住處比丘唱四方大界相。若僧時到僧忍聽：僧今於此四方相內結作大界，同一住處，同一說戒。白如是。」「大德僧聽！此住處比丘唱四方大界相，僧今於此四方相內結作大界，同一住處同一說戒。誰諸長老忍僧今於此四方相內結作大界，同一住處同一說戒者，默然；誰不忍者，說。僧已忍，於此四方相內，同一住處同一說戒結大界竟。僧忍，默然故。是事如是持。」

Second, formally applying the holy karman: The sthavira asks, 'The saṃgha is now assembled; what is to be done?' The reply is, 'The karman to demarcate the great boundary!' It should be demarcated with a jñaptidvitīyā-karman. The text reads: 'May the venerable saṃgha listen! The bhikṣus of this residence have proclaimed the marks of the great boundary on the four sides. If the saṃgha's time has come and the saṃgha approves, may it listen: The saṃgha now within these marks on the four sides demarcates a great boundary, having the same residence and the same upoṣadha recitation. This is the motion.' 'May the venerable saṃgha listen! The bhikṣus of this residence have proclaimed the marks of the great boundary on the four sides; the saṃgha now within these marks on the four sides demarcates a great boundary, having the same residence and the same upoṣadha recitation. Whichever elders approve that the saṃgha now within these marks on the four sides demarcates a great boundary, having the same residence and the same upoṣadha recitation, remain silent; whoever does not approve, speak! The saṃgha has approved that within these marks on the four sides, having the same residence and the same upoṣadha recitation, the demarcation of the great boundary is completed. It is because the saṃgha approves and is silent. Thus is this matter upheld.'
