三明順從者。應於上七五事中，一一順從，無有違者。於僧小食上、後食上、若說法、若布薩時，應正衣服，脫革屣，在一面立，互跪合掌白言：「大德僧受我懺悔；自今已去，自責心，止不復作。」僧當量審，然後受之。

Third, explaining compliance. One should comply with each and every one of the above seven sets of five matters, without any disobedience. At the time of the saṃgha's morning meal, after-meal, or preaching of the Dharma, or upoṣadha, he should straighten his robes, remove his leather sandals, stand to one side, kneel on alternating knees, join his palms, and announce: 'May the venerable saṃgha accept my repentance; from this day forward, with a mind of self-reproach, I will cease and not do it again.' The saṃgha should examine and evaluate, and only then accept it.
