大門第二，明二師攝受法。其和尚攝行，與依止大同，合而明之。就依止法七門。

Main Section Two: Clarifying the method by which the two masters take [disciples] under their care. The upādhyāya's conduct in taking [disciples] under care is largely the same as that of the dependence master (niśraya-ācārya), so they are explained together. Under the method of dependence (niśraya), there are seven sections.
