1.67

一謂化教。此則通於道俗。但汎明因果，識達邪正。科其行業，沈密而難知；顯其來報，明了而易述。

First is called the teaching of transformation. This applies universally to both monastics and laity. It merely explains cause and effect in general, so that one recognizes and comprehends the false and the right. In classifying one's karmic actions, it is deep, subtle, and difficult to know; in revealing future retributions, it is clear and easy to state.
