言別乞者，《善見》四句：一四人同乞，或別乞各不相知，同一主故，同時受食，犯。《多論》：若四人各自乞食，共在一處，亦無有過，以非一家故。

As for individual alms-begging, the Samantapāsādikā provides four permutations: first, four people begging together, or begging separately without knowing about each other, because it is from the same host, receiving food at the same time commits an offense. The Sarvāstivāda-vinaya-vibhāṣā states: 'If four people each beg for food on their own and are together in one place, there is also no fault, because it is not from a single household.'
