就初戒法，受緣已明。今略標舉，顯知由徑，且分七門：一聖道本基。二戒有大用。三略知名趣。四具緣不同。五優劣有異。六重受通塞。七震嶺受緣，時代不同。

Regarding the first, the precept rule, the conditions for reception have already been clarified. Now I briefly outline it to make known its path, dividing it into seven gates: 1. The fundamental basis of the noble path; 2. The great function of the precepts; 3. Brief understanding of names and purports; 4. Differences in the completeness of conditions; 5. Distinctions in superiority and inferiority; 6. Permissibility and obstruction in repeated reception; 7. Differences across historical periods in the conditions for reception in China.
