四就行。止持離重過為勝，作持離輕過為劣，此輕重相望。若能治行者，止持對麁過故，治行易成故劣；作持對細過，治行難成故勝。

Fourth, in terms of practice. Non-action observance is superior in departing from grave faults, while active observance is inferior in departing from light faults; this is a comparison between light and grave. If viewed by the capacity of antidotal practice: non-action observance addresses coarse faults, and because antidotal practice is easily accomplished, it is inferior; active observance addresses subtle faults, and because antidotal practice is difficult to accomplish, it is superior.
