If it is an opposition between two objects of transgression and non-transgression, not designating, theft, and the like are examples. The precept against theft has four (because of thinking owned [items] are unowned); not designating possesses all five (not designating, thinking it is designated). Five refers to shifting ideation, because of the thullaccaya of the preceding mind; four concerns original bewilderment, because across both objects there is entirely no offense. By this meaning there are five. When it is transgression versus non-transgression, there are either four or five.
