Another interpretation is that between grave and light, the grades have three types. If it is shifting ideation, it is definitely five; if bewilderment, it is either four or five. How can it be four or five? If regarding the objects of transgression in two destinies one gives rise to bewilderment, because there is a duṣkṛta, it possesses all five for this reason; if the ideation is directed toward insentient things, there is entirely no transgression, so it is only four. It is similar with concealing and reporting, which are of the same kind as the former; if facing the lower three, the gravity should have five; yet falling under allowances, this means completely taking it as not an offense, and one who conceals or reports commits no transgression; yet because it is original bewilderment, there are either four or five.
