三所受人。謂比丘，作三法：一先自心解前漿類別，與淨人情同；二仰手受，無盜相；三記識言（此謂含時食者，若單清漿不須之）。

Third, the recipient, meaning the bhikṣu, observes three requirements: (1) he must first mentally recognize the category of the syrup before him, matching the kappiyakāraka's intention; (2) he must receive it with upturned hands, showing no appearance of theft; and (3) he must state a designation (this refers to when it contains time-appropriate food; if it is purely clear syrup, this is not needed).
