二能授人。四法：一漉澄水色，免非時食；二煮沸，擬後重溫，生飲不須；三以水滴淨，為壞味故；四淨人施心，仰手持來。

Second, the conferrer. There are four requirements: (1) straining it clear to water-colour to avoid improper-time food; (2) boiling it, with an intention to reheat it later (if drunk raw, this is not needed); (3) purifying it with drops of water to spoil the flavour; and (4) the kappiyakāraka's intention to give, bringing it forward with upturned hands.
