《五分》：非行來處，若大小便及洗手脚時，聽著屐。《四分》亦爾。《僧祇》：畜塼瓦擬揩脚。
The Pañcavargika states: "In places other than the walkway, when urinating, defecating, or washing hands and feet, one is permitted to wear clogs." The Dharmaguptaka is also like this. The Mahāsāṃghika states: "Keep bricks and tiles intended for scraping the feet."
