三明俗人士女入寺法。先出立意。息心靜默，非諠亂所集；軌法施訓，豈漏慢所踐。且心栖相表，形異世儀；歸奉憑趣，理存規則。故應其俯仰，識其履行；是敬事儀式，如法親覲。豈可足蹈淨剎，心形懈慢；非唯善法無染，故得翻流苦業。可不誡哉。

Third, explaining the procedure for secular men and women entering a monastery. First, setting forth the underlying intent. Calming the mind in silent stillness is not where clamour and confusion gather; laying down regulations to provide instruction—how could it be trodden by carelessness and laxity? Moreover, the mind dwells beyond forms, and the bodily appearance differs from worldly customs; taking refuge and placing reliance has, in principle, proper rules. Therefore, one must adapt to their deportment and know their conduct; this is the ceremony of reverent service, approaching and viewing them in accordance with the Dharma. How could one set foot in a pure monastery while being negligent and disrespectful in mind and body? Not only would one remain unstained by wholesome dharmas, but on the contrary, one would drift into painful karma. How can one not take warning!
