清信女人入寺，儀式同前。唯不得在男子上坐，形相語笑；脂粉塗面，畫眉假飾；非法調戲，共相排盪，持手𢴤人。必須攝心整容，隨人教令；依次持香，一心供養。懺悔自責，生女人中，常成礙絕；於此妙法，修奉無因；不得自專，由他而辦，一何苦哉！應深生鄙悼。若見沙彌，禮如大僧，勿以位小而不加敬（此於大僧為小，於俗為尊；出家受具，便入僧數；不得以小兒意，輕而待接。設有說法，謹當聽受。勿復喚名而走使）。

When a woman of pure faith enters a monastery, the ceremonies are the same as above. Only, she must not sit above men, exchange glances, words, and laughter; apply rouge and powder to her face, or paint her eyebrows with artificial adornment; engage in unlawful flirting, jostling against one another, or tugging at others with her hands. She must restrain her mind and adjust her demeanor, following the instructions of others; holding incense in proper order, she should make offerings single-mindedly. Repenting and reproaching herself: "Having been born among women, I am constantly obstructed and cut off; toward this wondrous Dharma, I have no cause to cultivate and practice; I cannot act independently, but must accomplish things through others—how bitter this is!" She should deeply give rise to self-deprecation and sorrow. If she sees a śrāmaṇera, she should prostrate as if to a fully ordained monk, and not fail to show respect because his rank is low (he is junior to the fully ordained monks, but honorable to the laity; having left household life and received the precepts, he enters the rank of the saṃgha; one must not treat him lightly with the thought that he is a child. If he preaches the Dharma, she should carefully listen and accept it. Do not call him by name and order him around).
