3.337

《十誦》：比丘應作維那，知時打楗稚，掃治堂宇、敷床、教淨果飲食，眾亂時當彈指。沙彌多者，立一沙彌，專知分處沙彌。淨人多者，取勤能處分者，立為主師。

The Daśādhyāya-vinaya states: "A bhikṣu should act as karmadāna (weina), knowing the proper times to strike the gaṇḍī, sweeping and cleaning the halls, arranging beds, giving instructions on pure fruit, food, and drink, and snapping fingers when the assembly is noisy. If there are many śrāmaṇeras, appoint one śrāmaṇera specifically in charge of assigning tasks to the śrāmaṇeras. If there are many kappiyakārakas, select one who is diligent and capable of managing tasks to serve as head supervisor."
