問：何故制尼依大僧？答：《愛道經》云：女人但欲惑色、益壽、畜弟子，亦不欲學問，但知須臾之事。故依大僧。

Question: For what reason are nuns regulated to rely on the great monks? Answer: The *Mahāprajāpatī Sūtra* states: "Women only desire to obsess over physical beauty, prolong life, and keep disciples; they also do not wish to study and learn, knowing only momentary matters." Therefore, they rely on the great monks.
