律云：僧十四日自恣，比丘尼僧十五日自恣。若大僧病、別眾、眾不和眾、不滿等，尼應遣問訊。尼眾病，乃至不滿，亦須問訊大僧。《十誦》云：差二勦了知法尼，往大僧中。

The Vinaya states: The monks perform pravāraṇā on the fourteenth day, and the community of bhikṣuṇīs performs pravāraṇā on the fifteenth day. If the great monks are ill, form a separate assembly, are in disharmony, or their assembly is not full, etc., the nuns should send someone to inquire after them. If the community of nuns is ill, down to not being full, they must also inquire after the great monks. The *Daśādhyāya* states: "Delegate two nimble nuns who know the Dharma to go among the great monks."
