3.451

單墮中，紡績一戒，律文：隨擘引縈織等，一一墮；成衣，不合懺著。餘上下戒，非無種相；行稀用寡，且略而已。

Among simple pāyattikas, in the precept on spinning and weaving, the Vinaya text states: Following each tearing, drawing out, spooling, weaving, and so forth, each is a pāyattika; once made into a robe, it cannot be repented of and worn. The other preceding and succeeding precepts are not without specific characteristics; since their practice is rare and their application scarce, they are briefly omitted for now.
