3.478

《十誦》，若前有方便心者，具除想疑，並結正罪；彼云：有主物，無主想、及疑，皆重。亦不問前境遮、性。若前無方便心者，具有想疑，結罪。

In the Daśādhyāya-vinaya, if there was prior preparatory intent, both perception and doubt are entirely excluded, and both constitute the primary offense; it says that regarding an item with an owner, perceiving it as ownerless or harboring doubt are both grave. Furthermore, this does not depend on whether the preceding objective realm is prohibitory or natural. If there was no prior preparatory intent, possessing perception or doubt constitutes an offense.
