Now I summarize these broad outlines, which are said to be seven: First, the arising of revulsion, whether gradual or sudden. Second, establishing the categories of primary actions. Third, differences in retribution and fruit. Fourth, the superiority and inferiority in gathering the destinies. Fifth, the reality and falsity of arising states of mind. Sixth, the mutual establishment of allowance and prohibition. Seventh, manifesting differences according to practice, such as the two modes of suitability and quietude! All these paradigms are the original intent of formulating teachings, and the cardinal basis for judging and deciding.
