小眾中，同別二法。同法者，既唱出已，至僧自恣竟，鳴鐘召來，依次坐草，對五德自恣。別法者，送籌入僧已，口差沙彌為五德，餘事竝同僧。

Among the minor assembly, there are two methods: joint and separate. For the joint method, after they are called out, when the monks' pravāraṇā is finished, the bell is struck to summon them; they sit on the grass in order and perform pravāraṇā facing the five virtues. For the separate method, after sending the tallies into the Saṃgha, a novice is orally appointed as the five virtues, and the rest of the business is completely the same as for the monks.
