總結中，上三句結前。言總束者，則驗十門非別序明矣。諸門者，即下諸篇；則顯教興中指諸門，非九門明矣。析，辨也。若下，指廣。可知。別論者，則三十篇望序為別，又復明矣。

In the summary conclusion, the upper three clauses conclude what precedes. Saying "summarily binding" proves that the ten gates are clearly not a separate preface. "The various gates" refers to the various chapters below; this clearly shows that when the arising of the teaching points to "the various gates," it does not refer to the nine gates. "Dissect" (析) means to distinguish. From "If" downward, it points to the extensive [exposition], which can be known. "Discussing separately" clearly proves again that the thirty chapters are distinct when viewed against the preface.
