三中，初示今判。上二句，正示對翻兩過。隨宜者，離前寡討論過也。約略者，相前曲分也。通結者，謂大分三行，翻上散釋也。指歸者，雖有相投，舉行攝屬，離上繁碎過也。下二句顯意。使謂令於後人也。綱領即三行，毛目即諸篇行相。整，理也。載下，結勸。上句勸學，開其解也；下句勸修，成其行也。載，即重也。

In the third [part], it first reveals the present determination. The first two lines directly demonstrate counteracting the two errors. 'According to fitness' means leaving behind the previous error of lacking inquiry and discussion. 'Summarised' faces the earlier overly detailed division. 'General summary' refers to broadly dividing into the three practices, countering the scattered explanation above. 'Indicating the destination' means that although there is intermingling, bringing forth the general principle subsumes the particulars, leaving behind the error of burdensome fragmentation above. The next two lines reveal the intention: 'to cause' means to direct later people; 'main principles' refers to the three practices, while 'fine details' refers to the marks of practice in the various chapters; 'to arrange' means to order. From 'carried' downward is the concluding exhortation. The upper line encourages study, opening their understanding; the lower line encourages cultivation, accomplishing their practice. 'To carry' means to repeat.
