制教中。觀下諸文所歎持戒，大約有三：一者住法，二者自利利他，三者生善滅惡。用此三意尋之可知。

Regarding the prescriptive teachings: looking at the praises for maintaining precepts in the texts below, broadly speaking there are three: first, abiding in the Dharma; second, benefiting oneself and benefiting others; third, generating good and extinguishing evil. Investigating with these three meanings, it can be understood.
