斥非中。非己所有，故云誦語。此名得實，宜須內省。今習律者，多用此語，指斥他宗；不知己學亦誦語耳。何以然耶？汝雖學律，律行安有？故知末世大小兩宗，皆是學語，良可悲夫！疏字平呼。文見十四，而指十五。彼此藏經分卷有異，非是筆誤。

Under rebuking errors: not being one's own possession, it is therefore called "reciting words." This is an accurate description; one should properly examine oneself internally. Nowadays, those who study the Vinaya mostly use these words to rebuke other schools, not knowing that their own study is also merely reciting words. Why is this? Though you study the Vinaya, where is your Vinaya practice? Thus we know that in this final era, both the Great and Small schools merely study words. How truly lamentable! The word 疏 is read in the level tone. The text appears in [fascicle] fourteen, yet points to fifteen. The divisions of fascicles between their canon and ours differ; this is not a clerical error.
