次明蘭若。上略阿字，亦云阿練若，即空靜處。有六不同，恐名相濫，故先標簡。六中寄衣，即三十恐怖離衣戒；僧界有二，如此所明；難事，即提舍末戒，餘可知。

Next, clarifying the araṇya. The text above omits the syllable "a"; it is also called āraṇyaka, which means an empty and quiet place. There are six differences; fearing that the designations and characteristics might be confused, they are first marked and screened. Among the six, "lodging robes" refers to the thirty [niḥsargika-pāyattika] precept on leaving robes in danger; of the Saṃgha's boundaries there are two, as clarified here; "difficult situations" refers to the final prātideśanīya precept; the rest may be known.
