戒場中。前釋別住，既約異界；自攝戒場，不當重列，故對前科假疑以釋。初敘疑。此下，決疑。二界即別住及戒場。同在自然者，場雖法地，然在自然之外。故《業疏》云：場雖大界所圍，兩不相接，中留空地，即異界也。

Regarding 'the precept platform': the previous explanation of 'separate residence' was already formulated in terms of a different boundary; since it naturally subsumes the precept platform, it should not be listed again. Therefore, it posits a hypothetical doubt against the preceding section to explain it. First, the doubt is recounted. From 'Here' onward, the doubt is resolved. The 'two boundaries' refer to the separate residence and the precept platform. Regarding 'both being in a natural [boundary]': although the platform is ritual ground, it is nevertheless outside the natural [boundary]. Therefore, the Karma Commentary states: 'Although the platform is surrounded by the great boundary, the two do not connect with each other, and an empty space is left between them; thus it is a different boundary.'
