隔障中二，初約覆障處。或下，約露地。以文中止云隔障，故通二釋。

Regarding 'separated by a partition,' there are two parts: first, framed in terms of a sheltered and partitioned place. From 'Or' onward, it is framed in terms of the open ground. Since the text merely says 'separated by a partition,' it admits both interpretations.
