指例中。以別眾之相，正約眾僧別他作法；恐謂同食別人非別，故此示之。眾法對念，有別可知；對首心念，亦有不集；如上所簡，成否同僧。

In indicating the analogous cases: because the mark of a separate assembly properly concerns the assembly performing rites apart from others, there was fear that people would think eating together while being separate from others was not a separation, so this is shown here. Saṃgha rites and face-to-face mental rites have separation, as is understandable; face-to-face mental rites also involve non-assembly; as differentiated above, their validity or invalidity is identical to that of the Saṃgha.
