坐立差別中，初科。以世多妄行，故特示之。如說戒所斥。然說戒時，維那起對上座，故有此濫。餘法即座對答，則非所論。下指《義鈔》；必有他說，其文亦亡。

Under "Distinction Between Sitting and Standing": the first section. Because in the world it is often practiced errantly, it is specially demonstrated, as reprimanded in the section on the poṣadha. However, at the time of the poṣadha, the karmadāna rises to address the elder, which is why this confusion arose. In other procedures, one responds from one's seat, which is not what is under discussion here. Below, it refers to the Meaning Commentary; there must have been another explanation, but its text is also lost.
