體非中，初文二，初約自言明失。文列十八人，所以無尼等四人者。準《業疏》意，比前足數，止是略無。《五分》明列，如後所引。若下，二約不言不失。指同〈足數〉，即前二三兩例。

In the invalidity of substance: The first text has two parts. First, it explains loss in terms of spoken words. The text lists eighteen persons; the reason why there are no four persons such as bhikṣuṇīs is that according to the Karma Commentary's intent, compared to the previous ones who make up the quorum, it is simply omitted. The Mahīśāsaka clearly lists them, as cited below. From 'If...' onward, second, it explains non-loss in terms of not speaking. Pointing to being identical to 'Making Up the Quorum,' that is, the previous second and third precedents.
