釋餘處中，初正解。昔下，斥非。自下，比決。說恣二處列相並同，而二名互出，故不足疑。

In explaining "other places": First is the correct interpretation. "Formerly..." below refutes the error. "From..." below compares and determines. In the two occasions of poṣadha and pravāraṇā, the list of marks is identical throughout, and the two terms are used interchangeably; hence there is no room for doubt.
