第四。人非中。犯戒者，境穢不足。有訶者，行淨別眾也。法非中。言非正者，容差互也。訶不止者，縱令如教，但使他訶不止亦非。事非中。上染謂五間及錦綺等。財不淨者，邪命得也。體量裁製，文中略也。

The fourth. Under 'invalidity of persons': 'violating the precepts' means the object is impure and insufficient. 'There being a censure' means one of pure conduct separating from the assembly. Under 'invalidity of procedure': 'not proper' allows for discrepancies. 'Censure not ceasing': even if in accordance with the teaching, as long as another's censure does not cease, it is also invalid. Under 'invalidity of matter': 'dying above' refers to the five intermediate colors, patterned silks, and so forth. 'Impure wealth' is acquired through wrong livelihood. The substance, measure, cutting, and sewing are abbreviated in the text.
