次科。五門三門者，今亦從易。至於東頰，穿限頭入，循限裏唱，徹至西頰，還穿限出。在事省繁，於義無失。障隔穿牆，須唱院名，有所簡別；或院牆不一，更加方隅，別名標異。

The next section: As for "five gates or three gates," nowadays one also follows what is convenient. Reaching the eastern jamb, one pierces the head of the threshold to enter, follows along the inside of the threshold to chant, and upon reaching the western jamb, pierces the threshold again to exit. In practice this saves complexity, and in principle there is no fault. When penetrating a wall with partitions, one must chant the name of the courtyard to make distinctions; or if the courtyard walls are not uniform, one further adds the cardinal or intermediate directions, using different names to mark differences.
