舉法中，初示非。問答差者，或罪事不同，或人處有異；見聞雖實，還即無根。引證可解。下句顯是。一一反上。

In bringing up the legal procedure, [the manual] first shows what is improper. Discrepancy between question and answer means that either the matters of the offense differ, or the person and place are different; though seeing and hearing may be real, [the charge] turns out to be groundless. The cited proof is easily understood. The lower sentence reveals what is proper: each point is the reverse of the above.
