Among the fourth five, the first two both combine two marks. The first says "this offense," which is the fault for which he is treated. In the note regarding other offenses, it is temporarily discussed with respect to saṃghāvaśeṣa; comparing pāyattika and below should also follow this analogy; but once one reaches duṣkṛta, there are no others. In the second note, "similar" means offenses of the same designation, and "derived from" means offenses of the same category. From the text of the note in the third, one should know that this disciplinary treatment does not extend to the four pārājikas. The fourth concerns reprimanding the legal procedure, and the fifth concerns reprimanding persons; harboring dislike in the mind and reprimanding with the mouth—reprimand necessarily results from dislike; the upper and lower refer to each other. However, based on the fourth and fifth not originally being sections or clusters, yet being listed among continuous offenses, the reason is not yet clear; it could also be that the upper three violate precepts, and the lower two violate matters.
