多少中。準上鬪諍，應是同過，別過亦通，作法非便。不至四者，律制僧不舉僧，恐破別故。指如上者，即〈羯磨篇〉，被人多少中。

Under number [of persons]: according to the above regarding disputation, it should be the same fault; separate faults are also permissible, but performing the legal procedure is inconvenient. Not reaching four is because the Vinaya prohibits the Saṃgha from bringing up the Saṃgha [on charges], for fear of schism. Referring to "as above" means the chapter on karmavācanā, under the number of persons treated.
