三身器中。若全未受，容有污尼、賊住、五逆，受五八十，則有邊、賊，故云俗已來等。十三難者，且通舉之。此簡身器，唯論造業，但收邊尼賊破五逆九種，故云雜過等。非畜初緣收，黃形第二攝。

Third, under "Vessel of the Body": if one has not received any precepts at all, there may be defiling a nun, dwelling as a thief, or the five deadly sins; if one has received the five, eight, or ten precepts, there may be border offenses or dwelling as a thief; hence it says "since having been a layperson", and so forth. The thirteen difficulties are cited generally for the moment. Here, screening the vessel of the body deals solely with created karma, including only the nine kinds—border offenses, defiling a nun, dwelling as a thief, schism, and the five deadly sins; hence it says "miscellaneous faults", and so forth. Non-humans and animals are covered by the first condition; eunuchs and hermaphrodites are subsumed under the second.
