勸受中，初躡前敘勸。即以破戒無戒比校損益。智下，引證，前引釋論雙證損益。即蓮花色尼勸化婦女出家之語，如中卷引。後引《大經》，但證其損。文明極有，勝報尚爾，餘凡可知。往謂昇天，返即入惡。

Under "Exhorting Reception," the first part tracks what preceded to narrate an exhortation. That is, it compares the loss and benefit between breaking precepts and having no precepts. From "Wise" onward cites evidence: the former cites the Commentary [on the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-śāstra] to corroborate both loss and benefit. That is the statement of the nun Utpalavarṇā encouraging and converting women to go forth, as cited in the middle fascicle. The latter cites the Mahāparinirvāṇa-sūtra, only proving the loss. The text clearly states that even with the utmost, excellent retribution, it is still like this; all the more so for the rest of ordinary people, as can be known. "Going" refers to ascending to heaven, and "returning" means falling into evil [destinies].
