結告中。牒上二科，誡令早示。使下二句，即上心境。心須念念無間，境必法法無昧；毫差即失，可不慎乎！今時昧教，事同兒戲；乍登壇上，心志驚惶；況師授昏冥，但知學語；自無所曉，將何示人！豈非宿業所追，致使此生虛喪；深須責己，期遂將來；虛浮者以臨事倉卒，多容舛謬故。

In the concluding announcement: He repeats the above two rubrics and admonishes them to instruct early. The next two lines, 'Causing...', refer to the mind and the object above. The mind must be uninterrupted moment by moment; the object must be unclouded dharma by dharma; if there is a hair's-breadth error, all is lost—how could one not be cautious! Nowadays people are ignorant of the teaching, and the matter is treated like child's play; upon newly ascending the platform, their minds and resolve are terrified; moreover, the master's instruction is dark and confused, merely knowing how to mimic words; understanding nothing themselves, how can they instruct others! Is this not being pursued by past karma, causing this lifetime to be wasted in vain? One must deeply reprove oneself and look forward to fulfilling it in the future. 'Superficial and unsteady' is because, approaching the matter in haste, there are prone to be many errors.
