六出問，所以中。恐在眾者，謂正問時。安審者，或約能問委悉，或是所問詳緩，言通兩釋。

In the sixth, explaining the reason for going out to question: 'Fearing being in the assembly' refers to the time of formal questioning. 'Calm and deliberate' is either understood as the questioning interrogator being thorough, or the one questioned being relaxed and deliberate; the words accommodate both explanations.
