五黃門者。《疏》云：黃是中方之色，昔刑其勢，號曰閹人；以衛中禁之門，故曰也。

Fifth, "eunuchs" (paṇḍaka): The *Commentary* says: "Yellow is the color of the central direction. In ancient times, those whose male organs were punished were called eunuchs; because they guarded the inner forbidden gates [of the palace], they were called this."
