1.80

取意中，初文。行藏者，約行事之廢立。取捨者，謂考古之是非。實難非易，文之互耳。大詮亦即總意（前云遠詮本詮並同）。程，示也。下列科條，取捨有據，故云無惑。

In the section "The Intent of Adoption": As for the initial text: "Practice and concealment" refers to the setting aside or establishing of transactions. "Adoption and rejection" refers to investigating ancient rights and wrongs. It is genuinely difficult and not easy, the text alternating between them. The "great purport" is also the general intention (as mentioned earlier, "distant purport" and "root purport" are identical). "To guide" (cheng) means to show. Listing the headings below ensures that adoption and rejection have a basis, hence it says "free from doubt."
