四中。即賊住緣起。此明時緣，為別邪正，故須常憶，用擬他問。

In the fourth: this is the origin of the 'thief-dwelling' [monk]. This clarifies the temporal conditions, and in order to distinguish the heterodox from the orthodox, one must constantly remember them to be prepared for questions from others.
