來意中，初科，上二句明立教之意。住持三寶，全賴人弘；師徒相攝，僧寶不斷，則佛法增廣也。增益謂從微至著，廣大即遍布流通。互下，示相攝之益，上二句通舉三攝。敦遇即心相攝，謂厚顧也。日下，示解行二益。業謂所學，文通師資，義在弟子。

In the purpose of inclusion: the first section, the upper two lines clarify the intent of establishing the teaching. The maintenance of the Triratna relies entirely on humans to propagate it; when masters and disciples integrate mutually, the Saṃgha-treasure is not severed, and the Buddhadharma increases and expands. 'To increase and benefit' means going from subtle to prominent, and 'broad and great' means circulating everywhere. From 'mutually' below, the benefits of mutual integration are shown; the upper two lines collectively present the three integrations. 'Treating with sincerity' is the mutual integration of minds, meaning generous regard. From 'daily' below, the two benefits of understanding and practice are shown. 'Endeavor' means what is studied; the text applies to both master and disciple, but the meaning rests on the disciple.
