《僧祇》中，初制非法。末世皆然，唯圖力役，焉知誤彼；得罪者，約制小過，論業叵言。當下，教如法。

In the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya, it first prohibits what is unlawful. In the decadent age it is entirely thus: they only seek physical labor, how could they realize they are leading others astray? 'Incurring an offense' refers to the prohibition of minor transgressions, but speaking of their karma, it is unspeakable. From 'ought to' below, instruction is given on how to act in accord with the Dharma.
