三正說儀，總示中，初明通用他部。下引《五分》、《僧祇》並《阿含》、《華嚴》。而下，明所據古本。準此應有多本，二師尤長，用為綱骨。即下諸偈不標經律者是也。然事容繁闕，不可全依，故云餘則等。

Part 3, "The Proper Rite of Recitation." In the general explanation: first, it explains the common use of other traditions. Below it cites the *Pañcavargika-vinaya*, the *Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya*, along with the *Āgama* and *Avataṃsaka*. Next, from "Yet..." onward, it explains the old manuals relied upon. According to this, there must have been multiple manuals, but those of the two masters were especially superior and used as the backbone. These are the various verses below that do not identify a sūtra or vinaya text. However, matters may admit of verbosity or omissions and cannot be followed entirely; hence it says "as for the rest," etc.
